About Me
Hello, my name is Renata and I am a British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)–registered, trilingual counsellor.
People often come to me when they are seeking a supportive space to better understand and navigate the complexities of life. You may be feeling overwhelmed by a life transition — such as menopause — or facing challenges that feel difficult to manage alone. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, or carrying unresolved emotions such as rejection, abandonment, or chronic stress, I am here to support you in moving forward.
How I Work
As an integrative counsellor, I take a combined and flexible approach to therapy. I work in a warm, responsive, and collaborative way, drawing on different therapeutic approaches to meet your individual needs and preferences.
I offer counselling sessions in:
• English
• Portuguese
• Spanish
Sessions are available both in person and online via Zoom.
Professional Experience
Alongside my private practice, I bring a broad and varied professional background. My experience includes working as a counsellor:
• Within a Parent Support Group charity in London
• In NHS primary care services
• In a secondary school and sixth form setting
I am experienced in working with a wide range of clients and presenting concerns. In addition, my wider background includes work as:
• A medical interpreter
• A martial arts instructor (Capoeira)
• A practitioner trained in energy-based modalities, including crystal therapy and theta healing
Taking the First Step
I understand that seeking support can feel daunting, but you do not have to face things alone. Counselling can offer space, clarity, and perspective during times of uncertainty or change.
If you would like to explore how counselling might support your wellbeing, I invite you to get in touch. I would be glad to support you in finding greater clarity, confidence, and balance.
