Linda Hawkins

I am a member of The Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists, one of the largest professional bodies representing chiropody/podiatry in the UK. This provides me with professional development, and helps with regular training. Since qualifying from the London foot Hospital in 1986, I have worked in the NHS and private practice as well as a wide range of clinics and environments. I joined the Complementary Health Centre in 1994.  Chiropody / Podiatry have enabled me to work in hospitals (Diabetic clinics and ward rounds), and with Community Services, including special nail surgery sessions and visiting disabled patients in their own homes. My current work outside the centre includes Housing Trust Clinics, Almshouses, home visits and an Age UK clinic. At CHC  I can provide a wide range of chiropody treatments from nail cutting to nail surgery.

I work closely with other CHC therapists to provide holistic solutions. I also perform Diabetic Foot Assessments on request. You don’t need a doctor’s referral to consult me. However if a surgical procedure is needed, I may ask you to check with your GP.

Emergency appointments can sometimes be arranged at  times outside of my usual clinic times.

I will be on extended leave starting on 16th August 2024. My lovely colleague Mabel Namata will be seeing all of my patients until I return at the beginning of January 2025.
