About me

Professional Background

I am an experienced counsellor registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

I have a particular interest in supporting people through life transitions. These may arise from specific external changes — such as relationships, work, or relocation — or be linked to natural stages of the life cycle. At times, change may also be prompted by a more intuitive inner sense that something is shifting or needs to change.

While such periods can feel unsettling, with the right attention and support they can also become catalysts for growth, renewal, and transformation.

How I Work

As an integrative counsellor, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches and tailor my work to reflect your individual needs, preferences, and pace.

I take a holistic approach, encouraging you to listen and attend not only to your thoughts and emotions, but also to the signals of your body and whatever you may define as soul or spirit. This broader perspective can help deepen understanding and support meaningful change.

Between-Session Support

While the core of our work takes place within the therapy sessions, I may also offer optional suggestions to help you deepen the process of healing or enquiry between meetings. These might include:

• Creative writing exercises • Reflective practices • Self-care or awareness-based activities

These are offered as experiments rather than tasks, allowing you to explore what feels supportive and relevant for you.

Session Structure & Pace

I believe that the pace of change differs from person to person. For this reason, I aim to remain flexible about the number and frequency of sessions. Once we have clarified the focus and purpose of our work together, we will agree a structure that feels appropriate and supportive for you.
