About Me
I’m Regina, a qualified Reiki Practitioner, and I’m delighted to be part of the CHC Lee family.
I trained with experienced Reiki Master Teachers within a lineage connected to Mikao Usui, the founder of Reiki. I feel incredibly grateful to have received these teachings and to now be able to share Reiki with others in the warm and welcoming environment at CHC Lee.
For me, Reiki is about giving you permission to stop for a while. Whether life feels stressful or overwhelming, or you simply need some time to yourself, your session offers a calm space to rest, settle and reconnect with your wellbeing.
Why Might You Choose Reiki?
People come to Reiki for many different reasons. You may simply want an hour to switch off, or you may be looking for complementary support during a more challenging period in your life.
Reiki may offer you:
• A deeply relaxing space away from everyday demands
• Time to slow down and quiet a busy mind
• Support during periods of stress or emotional overwhelm
• A greater sense of calm and balance
• Dedicated time for yourself and your wellbeing
What Is Reiki?
Reiki is a gentle, non-religious complementary therapy developed in the early 20th century. It is based on the traditional belief that universal life energy can be channelled through the practitioner’s hands to encourage balance and wellbeing.
Reiki does not require you to hold any particular spiritual or religious beliefs to receive or enjoy a treatment. It is used by people of different ages and backgrounds and is also offered as a complementary therapy within some hospitals and hospices.
What Happens During a Reiki Session?
There is nothing complicated that you need to do or prepare for. During your treatment:
• You remain fully clothed
• You relax comfortably while I work
• My hands are gently placed just above, or where appropriate lightly on, different areas of the body
• The treatment generally progresses from the head towards the feet
• The session provides quiet time for you to relax without any expectation to talk or “do” anything
Everyone experiences Reiki differently, so there is no particular sensation or response that you are expected to have. The focus is simply on providing a peaceful, supportive environment in which you can relax.
My Approach
I want you to feel comfortable and welcome from the moment you arrive. Reiki should feel like time that genuinely belongs to you — without pressure, judgement or expectations.
I’m very excited to be joining CHC Lee and look forward to welcoming you, whether Reiki is already part of your wellbeing routine or you are simply curious to experience it for the first time.
