Professional Background
I am a member of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists, one of the UK’s largest professional bodies representing chiropody and podiatry. Membership ensures ongoing professional development and regular postgraduate training, keeping my clinical practice current and evidence-based.
I qualified from the London Foot Hospital in 1986 and have since worked extensively across both NHS and private practice settings. My experience spans a wide range of clinical environments, and I joined the Complementary Health Centre in 1994, where I continue to practise today.
Clinical Experience
Chiropody and podiatry have allowed me to work in hospitals — including diabetic clinics and ward rounds — as well as with Community Services. This has included specialist nail surgery sessions and providing care for disabled patients in their own homes.
My current work outside the Centre includes Housing Trust clinics, Almshouses, home visits, and an Age UK clinic. Within CHC, I offer a comprehensive range of chiropody treatments, from routine nail care through to nail surgery.
Integrated Care Approach
I work closely with other therapists at CHC to provide joined-up, holistic care where appropriate. Diabetic Foot Assessments are available on request. You do not need a GP referral to book an appointment; however, if a surgical procedure is indicated, I may ask you to check with your GP beforehand.
Appointments
Emergency appointments can sometimes be arranged outside of my usual clinic hours, subject to availability.
