Sarah is a professional holistic reflexologist, with a passion for complementary therapy.
Her journey into complementary therapy began after a serious horse-riding accident that left her with a jarred spine. Medical professionals advised her to avoid riding and driving until further notice. Struggling to find effective treatment for her condition, Sarah was prompted to explore complementary therapy, a concept that was rare and largely unknown at the time.
Eighteen months later, after completing her studies, her curiosity led her to Egypt, where she conducted extensive research on reflexology. Although it was a challenging mission in 1997 nevertheless, the experience helped her develop the confidence to create a unique treatment routine. With the knowledge and enthusiasm of a newly qualified practitioner, she actively promoted well-being at local schools, beauty salons, and hospitals, as well as at the Health Trade Show in Earls Court.
Subsequently, a significant change in her life took Sarah to Boulder, Colorado, where she had the opportunity to teach and train at the Adult Learning Centre.
In the following years, she continued to expand her knowledge and skill set by certifying in Hot Stone Massage, Indian Head Massage, and Thai Foot Manipulation. She also developed a keen interest in reproduction and fertility, specialising in the reflex points of the feet related to these areas.
Sarah further qualified in Ayurveda Pregnancy Massage to assist her pregnant clients during their third trimester and to help induce labour for those who wish to avoid medical induction.
Through her own experiences and those of her clients, Sarah has consistently observed the benefits of incorporating complementary therapy into daily life, believing that prevention has often been the key to addressing many disorders. She possesses the knowledge and skills to tailor treatments to meet her clients’ needs on any given day.
