What is Vinyasa yoga: Vinyasa has its roots in Ashtanga (eight-limbed) yoga, which is thousands of years old. Vinyasa sequences Asana (poses) so they ‘flow’ together. The movement and breath are combined to create the ‘flow’ and enhance your experience of the practice.

My approach: I believe yoga is for everyone and everyone can benefit from practicing it. All bodies are different and I always give options, so everyone can feel included and make choices about their practice. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced practitioner, I want everyone to feel included and feel the benefits of their time on the mat. If you make time to turn up, then you are already winning. My classes offer breath and movement, with moments of stillness and Pranayama (breath) techniques. I like to offer a space that is welcoming and where students can have a little fun with their practice.
Review: ‘This is a lovely relaxed and inclusive class. Emma always makes people feel calm and comfortable to join in as much or as little as they feel able. A perfect antidote to a stressful day.’ – Jen, London.
