I am a fully accredited member of the UK Feldenkrais Guild having completed the Amsterdam International Feldenkrais Teacher Training in 2008 and the Jeremy Krauss Approach training for children in 2012.
I am originally from Munich, Germany, and live in London for over 20 years. Before I became a Feldenkrais teacher I worked professionally as a full time dancer for many years. In my professional life as a dancer. Feldenkrais has helped me to experience the body’s potential to dynamic movement and to use the body in a much more refined way.
I am also a passionate singer and vocal trainer. I have found Feldenkrais to be extremely helpful to people wanting to improve their vocal technique.
I work as a creative facilitator for inclusion and elderly groups with the London based arts organisation Entelechy Arts. I love to work creatively, particularly in settings where the creative arts have a direct impact on everyone involved… lots of fun and experiencing new things.
Individual Lessons
Individual Lessons have a great impact as they are designed specifically for the client’s needs and wishes. I ask my clients to do specific movements to help them to understand their body’s preferences and limitations.
For the main part of the lesson the client lies on a couch and I facilitate movement through my hands gently and with clear information. In this way, the client has a chance to allow new ways of movement and can let go of unnecessary tension and tightness in the muscles and tissues.
Students say the lessons are very calming and relaxing and prove to have a very powerful effect even much later.
